Seasonal Part-Time Seamstress (Onsite)

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team on a seasonal, part-time basis. This role requires a commitment of 10 hours per week from September through December. Our ideal candidate has experience in creating and altering custom apparel, with a specialty in evening wear or bridal garments being highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Perform alterations, repairs, and custom fittings on various garments.

• Work with delicate fabrics and intricate designs, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.

• Collaborate with designers and clients to understand and meet their specific needs.

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

• Ensure timely completion of all sewing projects.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Seamstress or similar role.

• Strong proficiency in sewing, with a focus on evening wear or bridal attire.

• Attention to detail and precision in all tasks.

• Excellent time management skills to handle a part-time schedule.

• Good communication skills for client interactions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in creating custom dresses for special occasions such as proms and weddings.

• Familiarity with various sewing machines and tools.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
